On June 3, 2014 the day after school let out Zane was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His diagnosis didn’t come easy. After 6 weeks of unexplained pains in different areas of his body, fevers, and several trips to the hospital, Leukemia showed up in a follow up blood test. He couldn’t walk at all by the time he was diagnosed and the Hospital admitted him immediately to begin treatment.

Zane had a bone marrow biopsy that showed only .02% cancer cells left in his blood which put him into a very high risk category so Zane had to have an extra six weeks of front line treatment. He is doing well now that he is in maintenance treatment.

Zane is a very smart, witty, humorous personality that has a one of a kind laugh and sense of humor. He enjoys Math and Science at school, and is a very avid history fan of World War 2 and would love to visit Germany and Hawaii to see firsthand where it all happened! He enjoys video games, time with his friends and soccer. He is playing soccer for the first time since he was diagnosed! Zane is a kind-hearted boy that will go out of his way to help another if they need help.

WE NEGU FOR YOU ZANE!!!
