On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Jessie Rees Foundation’s Night of Joy brought our community together to celebrate hope, courage, and the belief that every child battling cancer deserves encouragement.

Guests enjoyed exceptional food, fine wine, inspiring stories, and conversations that reinforced the power of helping kids Never Ever Give Up (NEGU).

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, more than $150,000 was raised to provide critical financial support for families facing childhood cancer, helping ease the burden so they can focus on what matters most: their child.

Special thanks to Northwestern Mutual Orange County, our Gold Sponsor, Booker Wines, and our talented volunteer photographers for helping make the evening so memorable.

One of the night’s most inspiring moments came from Courageous Kid Liam, who shared: “Staying strong doesn’t mean there isn’t also trauma… Thanks to my amazing doctors, my friends and family, and NEGU, I am still here, and I promise you, I will Never Ever Give Up.

Liam’s words reminded us why this mission matters. Because of generous supporters, children battling cancer and their families receive hope, encouragement, and the reminder that they are never alone.
