Jessie loved cupcakes and we know you do too! In honor of Jessie’s love for these delicious sweets, we offer this super fun-raiser to kids, groups, schools and corporations. Hosting a Courageous Cupcake Stand is a fun and easy way to raise more resources for kids fighting cancer. A cupcake stand can complement just about any event and activity or can simply be done in your local neighborhood or at your school.
Compassion Change Project
Did you know that a 16oz water bottle filled with dimes is equivalent to $100? By hosting a Compassionate Change Drive, you simply collect dimes and fill empty 16oz water bottles with them. Each water bottle filled with dimes sends 4 of Jessie’s JoyJars to Courageous Kids! Compassion Change Drives are great for schools, clubs and any group of people simply wanting to collect loose change to help spread JOY to children fighting cancer.
Hosting a JoyDrive with your friends, club, fellow classmates or coworkers is a great opportunity to collect those special, new toys that are put into JoyJars. When you commit to hosting a JoyDrive, we provide you with a list of hospital-approved toys and some basic instructions. Whether you want to collect one item, like Crayola Crayons or a variety of new toys, it’s up to you!
Do you have a heart for decorating or sharing words of encouragement? This is a great volunteer opportunity for all ages and groups! Whether you’re an expert artist, or just love to color kind messages. We would love to send you blank Care Cards to decorate and send back so that we can deliver them to encourage brave kids fighting cancer.
Amazon Wish List
Want to help but not sure how to? A great way to get involved is by sending in new, hospital approved toys that are on our Amazon Wishlist. All of these toys are easy to find and fit perfectly when stuffed into our JoyJars that are sent out to encourage kids fighting cancer.
Make A Difference When You Shop
Amazon created a simple way for shoppers to give back to nonprofit charities. When you shop on Amazon Smile, 0.5% of your eligible purchases will be automatically donated to the Jessie Rees Foundation.
Teaming up with Super Scouts is a fun way to engage kids nationwide by teaching them to think of others just like Jessie did. Earning an exclusive NEGU patch is easy! You can create a fundraiser or host a community wide JoyDrive to collect toys for kids fighting cancer.
If you live in the Southern California area you can schedule a tour of the JoyFactory and deliver your gifts of JOY.
In honor of Jessie and her desire to help spread JOY and give comfort to kids fighting cancer, we are looking for people who love to knit, sew, crochet or loom to help make Brave Beanies for Jessie’s JoyJars. You can make one or grab a group of friends and make 100, as each beanie will provide lots of comfort to children fighting cancer!
How can we help you?
