Alex is married to his beautiful wife Michele and the proud father of two amazing daughters Abby (13) and Maddie (8). He has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as the creator of several national group fitness programs, international presenter and keynote speaker, author, lead trainer for several online digital platforms, fitness consultant for Fortune 500 companies, certified nutritionist, certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer. His current responsibilities and projects include: National Signature Brand Lead, group fitness instructor and personal trainer for Life Time Fitness, creator and lead trainer for the KettleWorX at-home kettlebell workout series, a former Master Trainer for Radius on the NBC Sports Network, creator and content developer for Endless Pools and the Lead Trainer for the internationally known fitness App from Brazil called BTFit. Alex currently sits on the IDEA Health and Fitness Association’s Group Exercise Advisory Board and is a VIP founding member of the Men’s Health Fitness Council. He has presented at several nationally known fitness conventions, such as IDEA World, SCW, EMPOWER! Fitness, IHRSA, DCAC and The FitExpo. He has been featured on the NBC Sports Network, The TODAY Show, Discovery Channel, Hallmark’s Home and Family, CBS’s The Talk, Jimmy Kimmel Live, King 5 NBC Good Day Seattle, ABC News Network, CNN News Network and has also been featured and is a regular contributor to several national publications, such as Men’s Health (US and UK), SHAPE, Men’s Fitness, OXYGEN Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Experience Life, American Fitness, STACK.com and ACTIVE.com.
Cycling has been a passion of Alex’s for over 20 years. He considers himself an endurance athlete where he has competed in several short and long distance triathlons, including IRONMAN Lake Placid in 2004, including several bicycle road races, criteriums and time trials as a Category 2 cyclist. He even took his competitiveness to racing Spartan Races. One event that he is most proud of took place in 2011 when he competed in the HooDoo 500 bicycle race in St. George, UT as a solo rider. It took Alex 42 hours to finish HooDoo with only 1.5 hours total off the bike. This is what fueled his interest to take endurance cycling to the next level…RAAM 2018.
