Three-year-old Olivia has always been out going, she is loving, caring, strong, she amazes her family everyday. She was diagnosed in 2018 with Leukemia ALL B-Cell, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

Olivia is strong and doing very well with her treatment, some days are harder than others. She quickly forgives her nurses when she has to get a “buddy poke”, even though the poke terrifies her still. She and her family take this journey one day at a time.

Olivia doesn’t get out of the house very often, but when she gets her JoyJar from the Jessie Rees Foundation it is like Christmas every time! All new toys/ games to play with! Being home all the time now, her mom says  she gets bored, the JoyJar keeps her busy and happy and learning new things. Her mom says, “I love the knowing that there is someone out there that cares for our sick baby, and is making a difference in a child’s life. WE are still new and learning and finding friends and new family on our journey.”

Fun Fact about Olivia: She loves to play with her babies and play outside. Olivia loves anything that has to do with horses and she loves her puppies Jake and Rascal. She is also very creative loves to paint on her easel and look out the window at her bird friends.
