We love when our NEGU Nation gets creative while helping to encourage kids fighting cancer to NEGU! Noah got extra creative here…
Noah Williams is a High School senior in Kansas and a participant at Area Code Games in August 2015, an elite Baseball camp for the best high school baseball players in the country. Hundreds of scouts come out for the week to see these players awesome skills. The Jessie Rees Foundation has been invited for the past few years to host Courageous Kids for the past three years at Area Code Games to show the elite athletes that their life off of the field is important too.
The athletes on each team learn about Jessie’s mission and one team, the White Sox, gets some special time with these kids, who can return all week to hang out, watch great baseball and fell special.
Several of the baseball players have taken Jessie’s message and helped in their own states, including Alex Lange at LSU and TJ Collette in Indiana.
Noah learned about Jessie’s mission last year at Area Code Games and decided to help spread Jessie’s JOY in His own way. He held a ping ping tournament last week for 30 of his friends and raised $550 dollars to be donated to the Jessie Rees Foundation.
All the ping pong players had a great time and learned about Jessie’s mission. We are so grateful to Noah and his passion for Courageous Kids to Never Ever Give Up!
