New York State Senate has passed a bill that will be able to help fund research into cures for childhood cancer. These special license plates would be available to help fund research into cures for childhood cancer.
They will be available for $25 and would feature the words “cure childhood cancer”
$20 of the sale of each license plate would be placed into a trust fund to be allocated for childhood cancer research and education. It would also provide grants to childhood cancer research hospitals for the purpose of researching a cure.
Other states are planning to do this as well.
State Sen. Marty Golden says the license plates will “bring about a sense of hope.” Photo courtesy of Golden’s office. To read full article, click here.
