My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet-Pea. Another Thursday is here and it reminds me of another week you 
have been gone. Touching your clothes has helped me this week…I know, i’m weird. I just miss you sooooooooooooooooooo much!!!
This past weekend a bunch of your fans showed up to run and walk for kids fighting cancer. I’m sorry but I couldn’t get my self to write “in memory of Jessie Rees” on my shirt…just way to hard!!! I know you understand. Uncle T came and ran for you. So did Mommy, JT, Nana and Papa. We have been blessed with such great support sweet-pea. Melinda Heights elementary school is doing a week long JoyDrive this week to help collect toys for your JoyJars. They love you so much. All of your Facebook fans love you too…they send me notes daily on how much you inspire them to Never Ever Give Up too. They voted for you and you won the opportunity to have “NEGU” on Jimmie Johnson’s racing helmet and get $10,000 for JoyJars. It’s so cool. I also nominated you for Lady Diana’s most Inspirational Kid award. No matter if you officially win or not…you will always be in my heart.
I love this picture of you and mommy. We are praying really hard for Mommy as Mother’s Day is this weekend. You loved Mother’s day so much and always made sure I got her cards and gifts. You always thought of others way before yourself. It’s going to be a tough day for mommy as she embraces Shaya and JT with all the love she has and thinks of you and the massive hole in her heart. I will give her extra hugs and kisses from you Sweet-Pea.
Shaya just finished her first season of HS swim. She did great. She misses having a sister and thinks of you always. JT gets to go to Clovis this year for swim. I know you have to be laughing about that. Four 10 year old boys rooming together=). Mommy is going to help Coach Brian out. JT still wants to do “face time” with you. His heart has a hole too.
Sweet-Pea, I promise you that I will Never Ever Give Up on fulfilling your wish to encourage “every” kid fighting cancer to NEGU…we have reached 12,000 and now have 238,000 to go. You inspire me daily too!
