My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet-Pea! A hour does not go by that I don’t think of you. You can tell by the photo I used today that my heart is happy. Still hurts…but happy. I love this pic of you and Shaya. My heart is happy because I got to share about you four days last week to lots and lots of people. I love sharing about you Jess.
Last Friday I got to share about you at the Club Corp Charity Classic which was amazing and raised lots of money for you. Over the weekend mommy & I shared about your fight at church. Over 20,000 heard how courageous you were. It was such a honor to brag on your amazing spirit and strength. Then on Monday over 250 wonderful people came out to support your 2nd Annual NEGU Classic that was able to raise more money for your JoyJars. I shared your story there too. I saw your buddies Cade & Bella at dinner Monday too. Bella whispered in my ear she talks to you ever night. Cade tells other kids about you at CHOC each week. My heart was so happy to see how you are still able to encourage kids to Never Ever Give Up. You inspire me to NEGU everyday Sweet-Pea!!!
You are also inspiring others to share about NEGU. Charlie Houchin, Olympic gold medalist from London, shared about you Monday at Duke Children’s Hospital when he delivered JoyJars and 4x Olympian, Kaitlin Sandeno, will be sharing about you in Baltimore this week and delivering your JoyJars to kids fighting cancer. Your legacy of love is spreading fast Jess.
I still miss you more than every and love you more than that but my heart is happy today all because of YOU! See you in a “wink”.
xoxo,
daddy
