Mason just turned 8 years old & is a very active Courageous Kid! He loves being outside & is looking forward to playing t-ball this summer. Mason was diagnosed in 2017 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

 

Mason recently had a rough time with his treatment when his numbers bottomed out & he ended up with a ruptured appendix & inflammation in his abdomen. He spent a month in the hospital. He’s now recovering well & has started his last phase of treatment before he starts his 2 yr maintenance phase of treatment.

 

Mason says Never Ever Give Up means he’ll never stop fighting. To his parents, it means “we’ve got lots of support encouraging us to stay strong & keep pushing ahead.” When Mason got his JoyJar, his mom says, “he was so excited to keep pulling out lil prizes from the jar. He loved the whoopie cushion & shoulder buddy. He recently received a birthday joy jar also & loved the Legos. He was so excited that they knew exactly what he liked.”

 

When asked about the iNEGU app, his mom says, “Mason looks forward to his daily iNEGU messages. Even after months of his daily iNEGU he still reminds us daily that it’s time for his new iNEGU message. He loves sharing videos with Moe too.”
