12-year-old Luke has Glioblastoma, but he has never let cancer control his activities. He loves baseball, Alabama football, hunting , fishing and school. Luke had surgery June 7, 2016 and was back on the baseball field within a week of his surgery! He is so strong!
Luke’s mom June says, “DETERMINED – the word that describes Luke.” She says, “His faith and determination to maintain his quality of life has inspired me to never give up. NEGU means to us….LIVE LIKE LUKE!!” When Luke got his JoyJar in the mail, “He loved it and appreciates the many gifts he received.” June says, the Jessie Rees Foundation has helped them “be positive and giving without focusing on the sadness.”
