7 year old Lj was diagnosed in 2017 with DIPG. DIPG is – Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. DIPG is a rare and highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumor found at the base of the brain.
Despite his diagnosis, he is doing well. We are happy to report that he has already beat some of the odds against him, he is a fighter. His mom says, “I hope that he changes that 0% survival rate.”
Lj loves riding his bike and playing with his friends and he loves little action figures. To him and his family, “NEGU means just that we will never give up!! And also is this very good organization that brightens my little man up every few weeks and they never ever give up on him! He sure loves his jars! Thank you all so very much!”
Lj’s mom says, the Jessie Rees Foundation JoyJars, “uplift him every time he gets one. He has lost a lot of energy through everything and when he gets all his little things in these jars they are perfect for him to sit around and play with. And who doesn’t love Whoopi’s cushions!!!”
