8 year old Caden and his family joined Kelyn Rowe of the New England Revolution on the field at Gillete stadium last weekend. A longtime supporter of the Jessie Rees Foundation, Kelyn and his “Kelyn’s NEGU Crew” aim to give Courageous Kids a memorable experience as they continue their brave fight against cancer.
A highlight of each “Kelyn’s NEGU Crew” experience is a post-game walk around the field with Rowe as he thanks the fans. “My goal for Kelyn’s NEGU Crew is to bring kids away from the hardships they have faced and make them smile,” Rowe said. “I want to share with them the same excitement the game brings to me. That is why I love taking kids around the field after the game to experience the fans. It gives them a chance to fully experience the joy and support the fans can give you.” Each Kelyn’s NEGU Crew experience also includes tickets for the Courageous Kid and his or her family to watch the game in the Putnam Club, as well as a post game meet and greet behind the Revolution bench. Rowe talks with each Courageous Kid and forms a special bond with them.
