One day during her treatment for ETP ALL , 8-year-old Kate looked at her mom and said, “Cancer stinks, but look on the bright side, Mama, we’ve made so many new friends.”
We are proud to report that Kate recently celebrated 3 years in remission; her mom says, most ETP ALL kids don’t make it that far. Kate’s physical and mental stamina are amazing and inspiring! Kate almost always had a smile on her face, even during the depths of chemo, even while receiving cranial radiation, even after 7 hours of emergency abdominal surgery.
