Over and over, Kaitlyn has proved that nothing can stop her from helping kids fighting cancer! Kaitlyn is a 11yr old girl who LOVES to run. She started running at the age of four. She has run in countless 5K’s, 10Ks, 12ks, 15Ks and even Half Marathons! Kaitlyn has a huge heart and loves to help others in any way that she can. Since she was just 7 years old, Kaitlyn realized her dream – combining her love of running with her heart to help Courageous Kids fighting cancer.
This incredible young lady is still running to raise $50,000 to help the Jessie Rees Foundation give kids fighting cancer the hope & strength and JOY to fight.
Kaitlyn just hit her $50,000 goal for 2018! Once she hits the big 5-0, she has a very special way she’d like to celebrate: by shaving her head!
“I can’t wait to have to not do my hair in the morning and just be like, done. And it gives me more of an opportunity to tell people what I do because people will just be like, ‘Why did you shave your head?’”
