Sam, from Moraga, CA, recently celebrated his 8th birthday and instead of his friends bringing presents, he encouraged them to bring gift donations for Jessie’s JoyJars.
Sam wrote to the Jessie Rees Foundation stating, “I already have lots of toys so why not give away a whole bunch to kids with cancer who might be away from their toys and can’t play with them.” The spirit of eight year old Sam is a similar spirit that we saw in Jessie. She was a kid helping other kids and we love seeing others doing the same.
