My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea…it’s daddy=). I miss you so much and want you back so bad but I know that isn’t going to happen. I still can’t believe that I no longer have three kids to father. I cherish the many wonderful moments we had during your 12 years of life and think about you so many times each day. All I have are memories and I hold on to all of them! I will always cherish being “Jessie’s daddy” and grateful to the time I had with you. You have forever changed my life and I’m a better person because of you.
You taught me that giving is way better than receiving.
You taught me that JOY is a choice not matter how bad of a day you are having.
You taught me that being “better” than “bitter” is a choice everyone has.
You taught me that life is precious and never take it or anyone for granted.
You taught me that a jar stuffed with love can bring joy to any kid.
Thank you Jess, for teaching me so much about life and love.
BTW, did you see my post last week about this big TV Christmas concert a team of past American Idols are participating in? I still can’t believe they are willing to help kids fighting cancer. We are so honored for their support and I can’t wait to meet and thank them. I just love this picture of you and Randy Jackson when you were on American Idol. Randy is going to be participating in the event too. It’s going to be on December 23rd and shown on cable. I so wish you were going to be here in person…I know you will be here in spirit. As soon as I have more information I will send it to you…maybe you can watch it from your Heavenly Home:=).
Dang…why are you in your Heavenly Home instead of our home? You have a room here too. I know that is super selfish…I just miss you so dang much!
