My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy. I’m writing from my hotel in San Jose, California. I’m here to meet with a courageous family and help host the Mobile JoyFactory at Western Digital headquarters. Can’t wait to stuff 500 JoyJars today with their compassionate team members. Shaya and some others are headed to New Jersey on Sunday to host the Mobile JoyFactory at another compassionate company. It’s so fun to team up with so many generous people and spread joy to kids fighting cancer…just like you ask=). In November the Mobile JoyFactory will be going global with Panasonic. That will be a new experience for us and we are very excited to spread joy globally.
The NEGU Classic on Monday was super fun and we were able to raise $250,000 so we can send 250 Courageous Families from our Year of Joy program a $1,000 on December 1st. Maybe someday we will be able to raise enough money to send every Courageous Family in our Year of Joy program $1,000 during the 25 Days of Love campaign. That would be cool but it’s going to still be amazing to be able to help 250 families. All because of you Jess!!!
I so wish I could get a note from you and read how you are doing. That would be the best gift ever!!! Sometimes “faith” isn’t so easy to hold on to…it causes you to have to trust the truth and trust the timing. As soon as I see you again in Heaven all of my pain and questions will disappear. That will be a great day!!!
Remember the time you shaved my head for Childhood Cancer Awareness back in September 2011? That was so fun and I will always remember it and your smile!!!
