My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy! I sure hope you are doing well…I miss you so much and think about you so often. I love this picture of us! It reminds me of how we were before March 3, 2011….happy, healthy and full of hope!
The internal rollercoaster I ride everyday continues to go up and down and side to side…thankfully the downs are not as long and gut wrenching as they were in the past…memories still cause them to happen. The ups I hold on to and cherish each day…those are always filled with opportunities to spread hope, joy and love for you!!!
The down for this week came during JT’s swim banquet. He had a great year and got the Most Inspirational Award, which we were so proud of him for. The tough part was seeing your friends who are seniors get their awards. You should have been on that stage and getting awards too. My mind just races with “wonder what” thoughts so much in those moments. Wonder what Jessie would look like? Wonder what award Jessie would have received? Wonder what college Jessie would be heading to? The list goes on.
The up for this week is actually today…I’m sitting in my Las Vegas hotel room getting ready to team up with this amazing corporation today and fill 3,000 of your JoyJars…WOW!!! I also get to go visit children in the hospital and deliver your JoyJars once we finish stuffing. That is my kind of day….stuffing and spreading JOY in your name.
Jess, I will NEVER EVER GIVE UP on your mission…there have some good-sized challenges lately but I’m not going to let them impact your mission…it’s just way to special to me=))).
