My Jessie Journal:: Hi, Sweet Pea! It’s daddy! I miss you so much. I really want us back as a family of five. I remember taking this picture three days after you were diagnosed with cancer. It was the last photo we had of the five of us before cancer started to take your body. I remember talking about this picture on Monday when mommy and I met with a local family to talk about DIPG. It was so sad to hear their two year old son had just been diagnosed and they were getting ready to start treatment this week. They asked mommy and I all sorts of questions and we did our best to answer them but not scare them. It can be super scary wondering what is going to happen to your child when they start treatment. All the doctors say is it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Please have the Big guy send some of his healing angels down to help this little boy.
Last night you and your JoyJars were showcased at the Anaheim Ducks game as part of “hockey fights cancer”. It’s a special initiative that the NHL does to support people fighting cancer. I got to talk about you on TV and Radio. Even nhl.com did a story on you. This radio announcer told me he had followed your story from the beginning. So crazy!
Tonight we are turning this really nice club house into a mini JoyFactory. It’s for this show Million Dollar Listing on Bravo TV. This home that they are showcasing tonight has a massive main home and then this really nice clubhouse. As people tour the home they get to stuff JoyJars. It going to be super fun sharing your story Jess. One thing I never get tired of.
Please keep loving on the new kids that arrive daily. I’m sure they will love to see your smiling face as part of the “welcoming” team.
Oh how I miss that smile…got to go…liquid is starting to drop from my eyes…I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!
xoxo
