My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweat Pea…I miss you so much. People say it gets easier…I’m waiting for that day. I just miss you being here….your smile, your laugh, your hugs, your hands, your hair, your presence. I guess this is all of the residual pain of loving someone SO MUCH and not being able to have them in your life physically. Our home simply isn’t the same and don’t think it ever will be.
This weekend is Easter, one of your favorite holidays. You loved doing the scavenger hunts and spending time with family. I just hate that the giant plastic Easter egg that has your name on it never gets to be opened anymore. This picture was the last time you opened it.
Then in a few weeks your 17th birthday will be here…ouch! The last time we celebrated your birthday with you was when you turned 12. Dang cancer sucks!
We are planning a really cool limited edition t-shirt campaign in celebration of your life, your love and your legacy. We had a big photo shoot Monday with some of our All-Stars and Courageous Kids in these cool new shirts. We are only going to offer them for 17 days in celebration of your 17th bday. You would have loved them Jess. They look cool and they represent YOU in a very special way. I can’t wait to start promoting them next month.
