My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy=). I’m sitting here once again on a Thursday morning thinking about you and trying to type. Mr. Moe is laying next to my feet. I love your puppy so much!!! I love you so much=). I also love this picture of us too. It was taken seven years ago today when I had the honor of baptizing you.
You weren’t that stable on your feet so mommy helped you get in the spa. I remember you wanted the water really warm because you always were cold due to the impact of your treatments. Then it was just you and I together…I wanted to cry so bad but I tried to hold it in as I talked to you about what baptism meant. That moment was so precious to me and showed me how strong your faith was Jess.
Thank you so much for asking me to baptize you…it was truly an humbling experience for me that I will never forget. Some day we will be together again and recall special memories like this together. I can’t wait for that day Jess…back together…that is going to be amazing!!!
Until that time I will do everything I can to help kids fighting cancer smile locally, nationally and globally…all in your honor!
