My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy! I’m writing from Omaha Nebraska. We brought the Mobile JoyFactory here to finish our week of joy with Pacific Life. It’s a little colder than home but it’s really nice here. We also get to see one of our regional ambassadors and a courageous family that has a daughter with you. It’s inspiring to see families that have been hit so hard from childhood cancer get up from the “mat” (called life) and keep walking, keep fighting and keep making the world a better place. Another courageous mom is coming to help out too. WOW…this world is filled with amazing people willing to “show up—palms up”.

This morning when I was at the hotel coffee shop, a mom was with her little girl getting breakfast. The little girl reminded me of you from the back….blonde hair pulled up in a top piggy tail=). I love this picture of you so much!!!

It made me think, “What will you look like when I get to Heaven?” Will you be older or will you still be 12? I hope you recognize me by the time I arrive…I feel young but I feel I’m aging very fast due to the massive amount of stress that my body has been under for the past six years. I truly believe “stress” ages you faster…I could be wrong but I just feel like I have changed a lot and always look tired.

Enough about me…we get to stuff some of our new Family Fun JoyJars today, which go in our Family Fun Packs. These special JoyJars are full of games for the entire family. They also include a whoopee cushion=))). You LOVED those so much so we thought they would be fun for families. Thanks to Hasbro they also have a mini Jenga game…you loved playing that game too.

Jess, I love and miss you so much. I think about you countless times a day and my heart still hurts but I will NEGU for YOU until I see you….in a wink, I promise!

xoxo,
daddy
