My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy! I know you know that but I just love saying it=)). You are inspiring so many people. I was reminded about this when some of your classmates from 6th grade created an Instagram page called jessiegoes2college. There are wonderful pictures of your friends at their college with NEGU signs, NEGU wristbands, NEGU shirts and NEGU sayings. At first it was hard to see because you should be in college right now. I then realized these students were like ambassadors for you and your mission. It was so amazing to see and it made me super proud.
You can tell by the picture I posted that the other person you continue to inspire in big ways is your sister. I just love this picture of you two. You looked up to Shaya so much and you two were and will always be best friends.
Shaya is doing good, taking on more and more to support your mission and close to graduating with her three degrees. Yep, she will have a degree in interior design, business and public relations. I truly hope someday she becomes the leader of your foundation if she wants to. I think that could be amazing=))).
On Tuesday she went and spoke to a school about you and your mission. Today she is headed to Arizona to talk with a couple children’s hospitals and a college baseball team about you, your JoyJars and NEGU. She is sending video messages of encouragement each week to Super Sibs in iNEGU. Like I said…you are inspiring her big time!
What I love is Shaya wants to help out of devotion not duty. The last thing anyone should do help others out of “duty”. The best motivation for serving and helping others is devotion, passion and calling.
I hope you are doing good too Jess. I miss you so much. Mom misses you so much. Shaya misses you so much. JT misses you so much. We all simply MISS you! Thankfully we know where you are and we will be together again.
See you in a wink….I promise!
