Jesse is a silly and happy-go-lucky 10-year-old, “always the happiest one in the room, with the biggest smile and personality,” his mom Ryanne said.
Jesse loves sports too. He loves baseball, especially his favorite team, the Houston Astros. He also knows a lot of random history facts!
Despite Jesse’s diagnosis this year of Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4B, he continues to notice everything, be inquisitive and wants to learn about what is going on with his diagnosis.
The encouragement from the Jessie Rees Foundation “means a lot to our family because being the type of kid he is, seeing him sick and not feeling good is out of character for him,” said Ryanne.
Never Ever Give Up has been an inspiring message to Jesse and his family, Ryanne said, “we never want him to give up on himself when times get tough and we want him to know we as a family will never give up because he is our everything. He glues our family together and his fight is our fight and we will fight this together.”
Ryanne told us, the Jessie Rees Foundation has been extremely supportive, “seeing other children’s success stories have strengthened our faith that my kid will overcome this terrible disease.”
