JoyJars are delivered to hospital in Hawaii

Children in treatment at the Kapi’olani Medical Center in Honolulu received a special visit from the Jessie Rees Foundation last week! National Spokesperson for the foundation, Kaitlin Sandeno, was joined with local surfers Josh and Seth Moniz as they delivered Jessie’s JoyJars to the kids in treatment.

JoyJars, founded by 12-year old Jessie Rees during her 10 month fight with cancer, are plastic jars filled to the rim with hospital approved, age appropriate toys. Jessie founded JoyJars as a way to spread love, hope and encouragement to her peers fighting cancer. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, donors and volunteers, Jessie’s JoyJars are now being delivered to children in over 200 US hospitals and more hospitals around the world.
