Santa Margarita High School’s head coach Rich Fisher gave his team a pregame speech about Courageous Kid Joshua at their game last Friday night. Joshua was named the honorary captain for the game. Head Coach Fisher told his team about Joshua’s struggle with pediatric cancer. He said, “I want you guys to go out there and be at least half as brave as Joshua.”
Joshua walked to midfield with Santa Margarita’s four co-captains for the coin toss and later in the game, back on the sidelines, Joshua watched the players take the field. Santa Margarita player J.T. Thomas turned back and gave Joshua a high-five and promised Joshua – “Tonight I’m going to score two touchdowns for you.” Thomas sure kept that promise! He scored five!
THANK YOU to Santa Margarita High School for honoring Courageous Kid Joshua!
WE NEGU FOR YOU JOSHUA!
