Three-year-old Connor was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on December 11th, 2017. Currently, Connor is in the intermediate phase of his treatment which will be the next 6-8 months of chemo treatments and tests via his port, spinal taps, and oral chemo. This will be followed up with another 2 years of maintenance treatment. Neil, Connor’s dad says, there is “still a long road ahead for him, but he’s been amazing…We are amazed by Connor’s resilience as for the most part he has maintained a “normal life” of a 3 year old.  He has handled this especially well for being so young and all he’s gone through. “

Connor is a funny and smart boy who grew up with his older brother and cousins and likes to think he is  much bigger then he really is! He loves playing, having fun, and is a very sweet and loving boy. Connor loves his family, and is very lucky to have them be super active in his life!

Connor loves Dreamworks Trolls, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Books, Super Heros, Playing outside, playing at park, loves music!

To Connor and his family, NEGU means “working tirelessly to ensure that Connor receives the best treatment possible to make sure he has the best outcome possible.  Our goal is to maximize the possitive effects of his treatment, while minimizing the side effects to ensure he has the best life possible and hope that when he is done with his treatment around 6 years old that this will just be a memory and will make him stronger, vs defining his life.  Then once on other side of this, our family hopes to be active in the pediatric community and find ways to give back and help families as so many have done for us.”

Connor has just signed up for the Jessie Rees Foundation FREE Year of JOY, his dad says, “signing up for the JoyJars is very exciting as Connor and his brother love mail, so when these start coming in they will be so exciting. The website and the app have been great for us as parents as it has connected us with other resource and been a great source of reference as we are still fairly new to this.”
