AKT CPA’s and Business Consultants LLP out of Carlsbad, California has started a summer fundraising drive to help the Jessie Rees foundation bring smiles to courageous kids and their families!
AKT has set a goal to raise $10,000 so that 500 JoyJars will be delivered to courageous kids around the world. They are competing with each other to raise the money to donate via an online campaign and have created individual teams that have each set a goal to raise money.
AKT’s latest fundraising has been inspired by Jessie’s story. Over the years, AKT’s involvement with nonprofit organizations has included sponsorships, participation in fundraising events, volunteering as board and committee members, and providing direct financial support. Their philosophy for giving back stems from a commitment to enhance the communities where we live and work.
