We are so proud of seven year old Scott Lenfestey – he just gave his second speech in front of Congress to make his stance for more funding for childhood cancer.

Scott and four other young kids went to speak about the STAR ACT, a bill to increase funding from the National Institute for Health on childhood cancer and look into new treatments.

“I went because I know that childhood cancer needs more research money,” Scott said.

When Scott was three, he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He said, “I know that I’m one of the lucky ones and I lost friends along the way…So I want people to know that I speak for others.”

Currently, the STAR Act has 209 co-sponsors in the House, include three representatives from North Carolina, meaning it is close to a 218-vote majority.

We are so proud of seven year old Scott! We NEGU for you buddy! Thank you for all you are doing to support Courageous Kids fighting cancer!
