Life changed forever for nine year old Caden and his family when he diagnosed with a brain tumor-medulloblastoma on Aug. 26, 2014. His mom Jaime says, “Right from the beginning he was tougher than me and Ryan(dad).  While we were crying on the way to the hospital Caden was in the backseat singing “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors.”  Caden’s Never Ever Give Up attitude is so inspiring!

Over the next year and a half, Caden had surgery to remove the tumor, radiation and nine rounds of chemotherapy. The radiation messed up his taste buds so much that he didn’t want to eat PBJ, his favorite food!

We are so proud to report that Caden is currently cancer free, but dealing with “after effects”– thyroid issues and starting growth hormones.  Since this experience, Caden is much more confident and brave; he enjoys public speaking and proudly tells people that he is a cancer survivor!

Caden tells everyone that he wants to open a Jessie’s JoyJars JoyFactory in New York State!
