Addie is a two-year-old little girl with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. 

She is strong, and even with her diagnosis, she just keeps going! Addie is tough, very independent and loves being social. She walks around the hospital waving to everyone and greeting them, and sometimes spontaneously gives out hugs!

When Addie got her JoyJar in the mail, her mom told us “Receiving the items brightened Addie’s day. Sometimes she was grumpy and having a bad day, and they brought a smile to her face. That meant the world to me. She loved playing with all of the little toys! And she loved sharing some of the items with her big brother.” She said, “NEGU is a reminder to persevere. Sometimes that means taking one day at a time, one hour at a time, or sometimes just one moment at a time.” 

 

Addie loves music and she’s a great dancer! She loves Signing Times (learning sign language). She knows over 100 signs. She loves to dress up in cute dresses and tutus. She also loves to wrestle and play with her big brother, who is her favorite person in the world.
