Girl Scouts Build Bears of Joy For Kids in Hospitals

Orange County Girl Scout Troops are marching their way over to Build-a-Bear workshop this December to make some special bears for some special kids this holiday season. Facilitated by Build-a-Bear Workshop at Downtown Disney, Girl Scouts of Orange County and the Jessie Rees Foundation, scout troops will be coming into the workshop together to stuff and decorate special bears that will delivered to kids at Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC).

This special holiday service event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 8:30am-10am at Downtown Disney in Anaheim. Prices start at at $9+tax. At this event girls will get to build a bear, print a birth certificate for a bear and decorate it, learn about the power of encouraging a child to Never Ever Give Up,color a cheerful page and have a magical time making the world a better place through spreading courage, confidence and character.  All girls will practice advocating for themselves and others, promote cooperation and team building and gain a sense of belonging to a big sisterhood.
