At the Jessie Rees Foundation, we have so many wonderful volunteers who are dedicated to joining us in supporting kids fighting cancer around the world. We are honored, humbled and forever grateful for this outpouring of support.
Working with our volunteers we get to meet some really special and unique people; people who are passionate about service and committed to making a difference. We are exceptionally in awe of the kids and young adults who come in to help–our future of compassionate leaders.
We would like to take a special opportunity to introduce our fans and followers to sisters Kelsey and Mia! Kelsey and Mia have made such a difference in the lives of kids fighting cancer through their countless hours of service at and funding for at Jessie’s Foundation and other childhood cancer charities.
Kelsey and Mia have joined us on several occasions in the Joy Factory, stuffing lots of JoyJars. The girls were so inspired by their experience in the Joy Factory, that they set out to raise money for Jessie’s cause–even using their own birthday parties as a way to spread more awareness for kids fighting cancer.
10 year old Mia hosted a Joy Drive at her school, Arroyo Vista, collecting hospital approved toys and games and recently donated her hair to St. Baldrick’s Foundation in memory of Jessie and on behalf of a few kids we know battling right now.
Kelsey and Mia, we are so in awe of the amazing work you do to support your friends and other kids fighting cancer. Our hats are off to you; you are our future of compassionate leaders! NEGU Kelsey and Mia!
