Did you know that you can join us in stuffing joy for kids fighting cancer? Every day, the Jessie Rees Foundation’s Joy Factory welcomes individuals, groups, clubs and businesses in for some fun JoyJar stuffing. We ship so many JoyJars to kids at homes and in hospitals, and we rely on the great work of our volunteers and supporters to help ensure that our JoyJars are filled with only the best, age-appropriate, gender specific toys.
When you join us in the Joy Factory, you get to experience, firsthand, how Jessie’s JoyJars are stuffed, sealed and delivered to kids fighting cancer around the world. Before you start stuffing joy, our team will go over with you Jessie’s very important rules for her JoyJars–they must be filled to the rim with fun stuff and no cheesy toys!
Kim, one of our wonderful volunteers, brought her sons Brandon and Joshua in to stuff JoyJars. Kim wanted to give her sons to have an important experience of giving and helping others. After spending some time in the Joy Factory, Brandon and Joshua told Kim that stuffing JoyJars and helping others was the best experience ever. Kim and her family have since come back to help us out several times.
It is because of volunteers like Kim, Brandon and Joshua, that we are able to continue to bring joy, hope and encouragement to thousands of kids fighting cancer.
