Courageous NEGU Fighter

We had the honor and privilege of getting to know 8 year old William, one of our courageous NEGU kids. William is fighting Osteosarcoma. He is currently in chemotherapy treatment and receives peg shots.
NEGU has been William’s inspiraton to “Never give up hope on myself. NEGU has made me laugh and made me happy that others care about us cancer kids”- William

William would like the world to know that he loves to watch Star Wars movies, legos and just wants to be a normal kid again. William tells us that while having a prosthetic and losing his hair has been very hard for him, having gone down this journey has made him stronger and shown him new things. William built a close bond with his nurses and friends, and leaving the hospital was also hard for him.

William’s heros are Tim Tebow and his physical therapist Amanda who never stops pushing encouraging him. William loves to visit the Ronald McDonald House, loves baseball and football. His favorite color is neon green.
