My Jessie Journal…Hi Sweet-Pea! Miss you tons and tons. I sit in your room and think about you 541174_407620789304015_334045682_neach day. I love saying, “Good night Jess” each night too. Certain routines don’t have to stop. Just wish I could hold your hand, kiss your face and squeeze your tight!!! This hole hurts so bad. I lost a part of my life on Jan. 5th. A part that no one or nothing can fill. It’s just pain I live with…it’s also the pain the motivates me to make a difference for you!!!

Mommy’s birthday was Sunday and I got her the three piece Brighton set…one from each of her kids. The one from you was a custom bracelet that had four charms…heart with “joy”, swim suit, doggie and flip flops. All of the things that remind us of you!!! I’m going to make sure family always gets gifts from you…it just feels right!

Monday was a magical day for our family and your little buddy Cade. First, we got to flood Cade with “love” by sending him and his parents to the UCLA football practice. Cade loves football. I’m calling these special occasions “Love Floods”…where compassion covers cancer! After seeing what happened, Cade was totally flooded with NEGU Love. The entire team embraced him and made him smile and feel VERY special. They even chanted “Never Ever Give Up Cade” as a team. Now the entire team knows about you and your wish to encourage every kid fighting cancer to NEGU.

The last thing that happened Monday was super special for Mommy, Shaya, JT and I. We were all interviewed about you for a really special award you are receiving. I can’t tell you yet but soon. Let’s just say lots of people are going to learn about you, NEGU and your JoyJars. Due to this special award, a donor is going to give you a $25,000 gift on Christmas if we get your fans to 250,000 by then. All of your fans are working hard to share with their friends and family. That’s a BIG goal but I love the challenge. You are inspiring so many to live with “courageous compassion”.

I’m so proud of you and love being known as “Jessie’s Daddy”.

Love you tons, miss you more and will see you in a “wink”.

xoxo,
Daddy
