Eleanor was diagnosed with Leukemia the day after she turned 3. Her brother was just 4 months old at the time and Eleanor is still an amazing big sister, and loves to teach him new things. She is also all about the snow where they live in Minnesota, and loves to snowmobile and dance!

To Eleanor and her family, the Jessie Rees Foundation has “put a shining smile on Eleanor’s face with packages and joy jars that just light up her day! They have also supported our family with being there to talk, and assistance. They have helped our family with groceries and gas to keep this family afloat, with us having the loss of one income when Eleanor was diagnosed, and my significant other owns his own business, with good and bad times. They have been there with anything they can do to help.”

When she got her first JoyJar in the mail, her mom said Eleanor was  “amazed, ready to start playing” with all her new goodies!
