My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea, it’s daddy! So happy to report this week has been a good one for me emotionally and spiritually. The healing process has been long and sometimes fearful but it’s working. There is a famous statement…“life hurts but God heals”. This is so true and I just had to find a way to believe it again after experiencing so much pain that I still don’t understand.

I know the roller-coaster called Grief will continue to have unexpected downs and turns but I feel I’m getting stronger each and every day. Seeing how you dealt with your cancer at such a young age and your commitment to praying has inspired me so much. This picture is on my phone and I look at it each day and say to myself…. “The best way to honor Jessie is to love Jesus like she did.” Shaya is also a big motivation to me…her dedication to God and commitment to worship no matter what life throws at her is so inspiring.
