15-year-old Katherine was diagnosed in 2016 with spinal and brain cancer. Katherine is very artistic and loves to do crafts like sculpture, journaling, sewing, and drawing. She loves animals, especially her cats and the therapy dogs she got to meet at the hospital. Katherine is completing the 10th grade at home and can’t wait to get back to school soon! She has been so brave and optimistic through her surgeries, radiation, and gamma-knife treatment. Katherine has maintained a positive, optimistic NEGU attitude through 2 spinal surgeries, 6 weeks of radiation, and a gamma-knife procedure on her brain since November 2016 and we are so proud of her!!! Her mom says, “Katherine loves receiving the JoyJars from you and our family appreciates the encouragement your organization gives.” WE NEGU FOR YOU KATHERINE!!!
