During Jessie’s ten-month courageous fight, she personally stuffed and sent out 3,000 JoyJars to children fighting cancer in homes and hospitals. She was even given the opportunity to personally deliver her JoyJars to kids at City of Hope Hospital. That experience gave Jessie a great deal of pride and enjoyment as she experienced first-hand, the impact her JoyJars had on the lives of other kids.

JoyJars are not the end, but the beginning of a relationship of love, support, and encouragement.”

– Erik Rees

Building that special relationship with families affected by childhood cancer has been a goal of the Jessie Rees Foundation since inception. Knowing first hand the many struggles a family faces while caring for a child fighting cancer, the Jessie Rees Foundation continues to seek new opportunities to ‘care’ for kids and their families until there is ‘cure’ – spreading Jessie’s JOY.

Jessie’s JoyJars are delivered around the world, in all 50 states and 30 countries. Recently, 120 of Jessie’s JoyJars made it to to the Ronald McDonald house in Lima, Peru!

We received a sweet message from the ladies who delivered Jessie’s JoyJars, “What an amazing heartfelt experience Bobbi! Olivia, Dani, my niece Natalia and me left the RMcD house and we wanted to do more! Those kids were so happy with the JoyJars! Thank you and the Jessie Rees Foundation family for choosing Peru kids for your JoyJars!”

If you know a child fighting cancer that needs a boost of JOY, please encourage them to sign up for the FREE Year of JOY program at jessie.org/joy!
