Marriott from the Laguna Beach National Charity League learned about Jessie Rees Foundation through her community and loves Jessie’s wish and mission so much that she wanted to hold a Courageous Cupcake stand at the Junior Olympics Swim Meet hosted by the local Gators Swim team in July.
Marriott plans to continue the trend at future swim meets to help raise fund to encourage kids fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up. Marriott’s Courageous Cupcakes stand was a team effort, her friends helped with making signs and more!!!
The Gators are coached by Felipe Delgado, who is a 2 time Olympian and owner of Evolution Swim. Felipe has also been a great support to Jessie Rees Foundation with donations and attendance at the Gala in 2016. Jessie was a Junior Olympic Swimmer, so it is incredible to have the continued support of the swim community.
Community fundraising like Marriott’s Courageous Cupcake stand allows the Jessie Rees Foundation the ability to continue to spread more JOY to Courageous Kids fighting cancer across the world. We are better together, thank you Marriot!!!
