My Jessie Journal…Hi Sweet Pea, it’s Daddy! I wanted to write and tell you how much I love you, miss you and think about you every day. As you may have seen, we are asking NEGU Nation to design fun “NEGU” designs and post them on 1/5/16 in celebration of YOU!!! Mommy, Shaya and JT are already creating our fun designs and we are committed to making the worst day of our lives somewhat joyful this year.
But today I wanted to share a song with you. It’s a song I tweaked from one of mommies favorite country singers Luke Bryan. I hope he doesn’t get upset at me=). It’s a song about losing someone but instead of his title “Drink a beer”…I changed it to “Shed a Tear”…I felt that title fit our family better. Mommy, Shaya, JT and I shed tears of love often because we miss being a family of 5. The song is like a recap of Jan 5, 2012. I’m sharing with you now so I make Jan 5th as joyful as I can.
The song starts with me waking up to mommy saying “I can’t wake Jess” and what transpired next. It includes mommy so I picked this great picture of us to post with it. All thought the song is real and raw…I didn’t want to include a picture of us sad. I just always love seeing your smile.
