Three 2016 Olympic swimmers visited Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston – Maya DiRado, Molly Hannis and Melanie Margalis were all on the U.S. Swim Team during the 2016 Rio Olympics. As part of their visit, they went to Seacrest Studios, a broadcast media center within the facility.
They also passed out Jessie’s JoyJars filled with all kinds of goodies such as crayons and games to Courageous Kids fighting cancer.
“It’s amazing just to see the reaction on their faces and just be able to be present for them and hopefully give them a little inspiration because we’ve gotten so much from the American public and felt so much support,” Maya DiRado said.
