Marissa is about as cool of a kid as you can get, with her vibrant spirit, her passion for books and reading, and her love of animals.
Marissa and her family were told this year that she is fighting synovial sarcoma. Even while having to be far from home for treatment, Marissa continues to stay strong, with a smile on her face. Marissa refuses to let anything come in her way of finding fun and laughter each day, no matter how far she is her friends and family.
