Share the power of JoyJars

Twelve-year-old Jessie Rees created JoyJars to share exactly that – joy! She wanted a special way to encourage her peers who were fighting cancer and inspire them to Never Ever Give Up.

Jessie personally gave more than 3,000 children an opportunity to know they were not alone. And after she lost her battle with cancer, more than 263,000 additional children have received a JoyJar thanks to friends like you.

Today, thousands more children and their families need support and encouragement to NEGU. And you can be part of giving JOY to so many through the following:

  • Compassion Change – By hosting a Compassion Change Drive, you simply collect dimes and fill empty 16oz water bottles with them. Each water bottle filled with dimes sends 5 of JoyJars to Courageous Kids!
  • JoyDrives – When you commit to hosting a JoyDrive, we provide you with a list of hospital-approved toys and some basic instructions to help collect the special toys that are put into JoyJars. Whether you want to collect one or a variety of toys, it’s up to you!
  • Courageous Cupcakes – Jessie loved cupcakes and we know you do, too! Hosting a Courageous Cupcakes stand is a fun and easy way to raise more resources for kids fighting cancer.
  • Brave Beanies – Love to knit, sew, crochet or loom? Help make Brave Beanies for Jessie’s JoyJars! You can make one or grab a group of friends and make 100, as each beanie will provide lots of comfort to children fighting cancer.

Thank you for learning more about how you can share the power of JoyJars – and help kids with cancer to Never Ever Give Up!
