A Story of Love, Loss & Healing
White Room, written and directed by JT Rees, is a deeply personal short film inspired by the loss of his sister, Jessie, to an inoperable brain tumor when he was nine. Through the story of Reese, a young man struggling with unresolved grief, the film explores sibling love, loss, resentment, and the emotional cost of avoiding painful feelings—ultimately revealing the importance of facing grief in order to heal.
