This week, National Volunteer Week, we are honoring and recognizing the contributions of some amazing individuals here at the Jessie Rees Foundation–people who have been instrumental in guiding Jessie’s Foundation into a globally recognized pediatric cancer support system for children and families.
The individual we are honoring today carries a lot of weight at the Jessie Rees Foundation. As a previous member of our Board of Directors, and now serving as our Corporate Relations Director, Toni Andrews has extensive experience in working with non-profit organizations in cultivating goals, resources and funding. Toni coordinates with our compassionate sponsors, creating a community of businesses and organizations that are dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer around the world.
Toni’s contributions to the Jessie Rees Foundation do not stop there. Toni is a key player in the planning and implementation of all Jessie Rees Foundation events–working for months on securing sponsors, coordinating entertainment and countless other logistical tasks. Much of the success of our events is due to Toni’s dedication to our foundation and countless hours of hard work.
Toni, today is our day to recognize you as our 2012-2013 Volunteer of the Year! We are forever grateful for your amazing contributions and your compassionate heart!
