This year, the Jessie Rees Foundation has expanded its reach to Camps offered to children and teens fighting cancer throughout the United States!
Camps give children the opportunity to spend time in a supportive, nurturing environment while giving them the opportunity to bond with their peers! We are so excited to be involved with Camps this year! These Courageous campers each receive a mini JoyJar filled with fun toys they can play with at camp!
This past week, our National Spokesperson Kaitlin Sandeno visited Camp Reach for the Sky in San Diego! She even got to swim with Courageous Kids in the pool! It was so wonderful to see these kids filled with Joy and happiness while at camp! Kaitlin said, “I had been so excited to swim at Camp reach for the sky for quite some time! What an absolute blast it was. From canon ball contests to under water picture poses our time in the pool was incredible.”
We can’t wait to spread more JOY and visit more camps soon!
