The Mobile JoyFactory is global engagement opportunity for Compassionate Companies and their employees. This special mobile version of our JoyFactory can visit your office, where you and your team can stuff JoyJars for kids fighting cancer around the world together! It’s a true bonding experience, while giving back to kids who truly need a boost of JOY in the midst of fighting cancer. Through the Jessie Rees Foundation’s Mobile JoyFactory, thousands of JoyJars have been stuffed and delivered to Courageous Kids by hundreds of amazing and Compassionate Companies around the world.
Monarch Healthcare recently hosted the Mobile JoyFactory and stuffed hundreds of JoyJars for Courageous Kids fighting cancer with more than 125 of their employees! This was their 4th annual hosting of the Mobile JoyFactory and each year is something new and exciting for the team at Monarch Healthcare. This year was no exception – they stuffed full-sized hospital JoyJars for the first time! These full-sized hospital jars are our Holiday Winter Wonderful JoyJars that have 5 different age groups and girl and boy jars within each age group. That means there are 10 different types of JoyJars to be stuffed full with JOY! That’s a lot of toys and goodies for kids fighting cancer!
Monarch Healthcare employees also got creative and made countless Care Cards with encouraging notes to Never Ever Give Up for Courageous Kids. These Care Cards get sent with JoyJars or sent throughout the year to Courageous Families who need a boost of JOY. Allie Votava, Senior Director of Corporate Relations and Development for the Jessie Rees Foundation said, “Monarch Healthcare, along with their parent company Optum, are exceptionally valuable partners for our Foundation. Their commitment to our mission and their hands’ on “heart” work stuffing JoyJars and creating Care Cards year after year allows us to reach further and dream bigger – ultimately resulting in encouraging thousands of children battling cancer to Never Ever Give Up!”
